A Gewinde-Grenzlehrdorn is a blend of a Gutlehrdorn and Ausschusslehrdorn. The Ausschuss side of the Gewindelehrdorn is marked with a red ring. The Gut side of the Gewindelehrdorn should screw into the cut thread of a workpiece by hand (without extra force). If not, the thread doesn't meet the desired standards (Ausschuss). The Ausschuss side can screw in by hand up to two turns. If it goes further, the thread doesn't meet the desired standards. A reference temperature of 20° Celsius applies to the workpieces and gauges. VÖLKEL can provide a factory calibration certificate upon request. The calibration, independent of VÖLKEL's production, follows set guidelines and norms (DIN, ISO, ANSI) in a separate measuring lab, using IAC-Gewindescanner.
